Optometrist Dr. Andrew Stone

Andrew grew up in Springfield, Missouri. He was a little kid who wore glasses. Andrew was a young entrepreneur who at age 11 started a lawn mowing business and learned early in life the importance of customer satisfaction and a job well done.

Andrew graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Nutrition and Fitness. During his undergraduate training, Andrew managed an eye care center with numerous responsibilities including frame selection and contact lens care.

He attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where he was awarded his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Stone is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Cherry Hill Business Association and Columbia Metro Rotary Club.

With his doctorate in optometry, Dr. Stone returned to the mid-Missouri area.

After working in several local clinics, he recognized the growing need in Columbia for highly personalized, professional, friendly service. He wanted to allow patients to be comfortable and to have access to the latest in eye care technology and designer eyewear. Andrew has a strong commitment to excellence in medical care, service, and product.

He has seen eye care from multiple perspectives and he still remembers what it is like to be a patient. Andrew’s life experiences have made him uniquely suited to bring his perspective to you.

Business Hours of Operation

Dr. Stone is now open the First and Third Saturdays of each month from 9:00am to 1:00 pm. Monday 9:00 to 6:00, Tuesday 10:00 to 6:00, Wednesday 7:30 to 1:00, Thursday 10:00 to 7:00, Friday 9:00 to 6:00. After hours appointments may be available upon request.
